Never Judge A Lady By Her Cover by Sarah MacLean

★★★★ I often wonder if I would have guessed the spoiler before it was revealed... but since I knew of the spoiler before I had even started reading this series I will never know.  If you plan on reading these books and have not yet started them please stop reading this review and go start with the Love By Number series (9 rules to break when romancing a rake I believe is the first) - you won't be disappointed.  I would really hate to spoil anything for you.

Now on with my review. Lady Georgiana is a feisty character.  The first time I read about her in one of MacLean's "love by number" books, I wanted her to have her own story. After getting glimpses of Duncan West.. well he just seemed her perfect match. I loved this plot! Georgiana was wonderful as Chase and watching her try to contain herself when she wasn't allowed to be him was fantastic.  I kinda wish Duncan had figured out she and Anna were one and the same, on his own... even though they always seemed to have chemistry.. I just wish that when he saw her as Georgiana for the first time that he would have had some kind of familiarity or something due to his frequent relationship with Anna. But this is just me and my silly love for soul mates and such. I thoroughly enjoyed her daughter Caroline, and actually hope she gets her own story one day!

The other 3 partners in this book cracked me up. I am going to miss them, and this gaming hell world they created! I saw that MacLean already has her next series named "Scandal & Scoundrel" due out sometime late this year. It will be Sophie Talbot's story... I must go back and look up who Sophie is. The title is "The Rogue Not Taken."- I love how her titles play on phrases!  I look forward to reading it. I haven't been disappointed yet by MacLean.

Here's the blurb:

She is the most powerful woman in Britain,
A queen of the London Underworld ...
But no one can ever know.

He is the only man smart enough to uncover the truth,
Putting all she has at risk . . .
Including her heart.

The fourth book in New York Times bestselling author Sarah MacLean’s incredible Rule of Scoundrels/Fallen Angels series. These four dark heroes will steal the hearts of their heroines and the readers alike! This is the last in the Rules of Scoundrels series—Chase’s story

By day, she is Lady Georgiana, sister to a Duke, ruined before her first season in the worst kind of scandal. But the truth is far more shocking—in London’s darkest corners, she is Chase, the mysterious, unknown founder of the city’s most legendary gaming hell. For years, her double identity has gone undiscovered . . . until now.

Brilliant, driven, handsome-as-sin Duncan West is intrigued by the beautiful, ruined woman who is somehow connected to a world of darkness and sin. He knows she is more than she seems and he vows to uncover all of Georgiana’s secrets, laying bare her past, threatening her present, and risking all she holds dear . . . including her heart.

Coming Soon!! Ravaged by Elisabeth Naughton

Ravaged by Elisabeth Naughton
(An Eternal Guardians Novella)
Release Date: June 19 , 2015

These Eternal Guardians! Wow! They are fantastic! I can't get enough of them, and I am sure this one -being that its a novella- will feel way too short. Naughton has never disappointed me and I look forward reading about Ari.

Here's the blurb:

Ari--Once an Eternal Guardian, now he's nothing but a rogue mercenary with one singular focus: revenge. His guardian brothers all think he’s dead, but he is very much alive in the human realm, chipping away at Zeus’s Sirens every chance he can, reveling in his brutality and anonymity. Until, that is, he abducts the wrong female and his identity is finally exposed. It will take more than the Eternal Guardians, more even than the gods to rein Ari in after everything he’s done. It may just take the courage of one woman willing to stand up to a warrior who’s become a savage

Coming Soon!! Accidentally in Love By Laura Drewry

Accidentally in Love By Laura Drewry

(Book 3 in the Friends First series)
Release Date: June 16, 2015

I  can't wait till June! Looks like it's going to be a great month for reading! I really enjoyed the first two books in this series: Plain Jayne and Prima Donna. Actually, let's be honest here.. I LOVED Carter from the second book. Drewry's characters are always easy to fall in love with. She's got a great sense of humour, and its refreshing to read a romance that doesn't focus solely  on the sex sometimes. Don't get me wrong... There is LOADS of chemistry, passion and yes sometimes a full sex scene. That said, when the characters just close the door on you for the night, you still feel all the good stuff without needing the actual detail. Which I think takes a talented author to do that.  If you haven't read this series you should definitely check them out!

Here's the blurb:

Ellie Palmer and cops don't mix, and getting pulled over by Officer Brett Hale—again—doesn't help. Neither does being forced to take a safe-driving course with him. Brett's by-the-book attitude leaves Ellie ice-cold, and his rock-hard body won't change that. Still, the more time she spends with the guy, the more she finds herself warming up to his unexpected charms.

Even though Brett comes off like a boy scout, Ellie has sparked something he wants badly enough to get him to rethink his past mistakes. But when her ex shows up, Brett makes it his mission to keep Ellie safe in the here and now. His gut tells him the guy's trouble, and Ellie must agree, because she doesn't complain when Brett pulls her close. To keep her safe, though, he'll have to choose between breaking her heart . . . and breaking the rules.
